Informed and discriminating tasters know the significant difference between wine for the masses and boutique hand-crafted wines straight from the vineyard. The Berghold Estate Winery in Lodi, California, is a family-owned and operated business, offering connoisseurs of fine wines a luxurious experience at our beautiful vineyards and estate.
The Berghold Family produces the finest wine grapes. We have 85 acres of wine grapes, producing varieties of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah and other wines. Our Mediterranean climate is ideal for growing wine grapes, with the Delta breezes off the San Francisco bay and the alluvial, sandy loam, nutrient rich soils of the vineyards.
Since 1986, the Berghold Family has handcrafted artisan wines to delight discerning palettes. Come meet the family at Berghold Vineyards and Winery, where you’ll be surrounded by aromatic vineyards and exquisite antiques from the American Victorian period. If you can’t make it to our vineyard, our wines are also available online, and can be shipped to your home.

Proposition 65 Warnings
Proposition 65 requires the State of California to maintain and update a list of chemicals that can cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Businesses with 10 or more employees that expose individuals to listed chemicals through their products or operations generally must provide warnings.
This website, operated by California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA, or the Office), provides information about these chemicals and how Californians may be exposed to them. The Office posts fact sheets and links to other pertinent information on this website on an ongoing basis.
